Having loved Sunnin when it was located on 2nd Street in Belmont Shores, and still willing to make the trek to the original Westwood Sunnin (albeit far less often) . . . I was THRILLED to learn that they have recently opened a take-out only place in Lawndale at one of these newish "shared kitchens" (no seating available, several restaurants share kitchen space and food is prepared for delivery or pick up - only.   NO tables or dine in services.)   The menu is less extensive, but it hits all the marks for a delicious to go meal.  I drove 45 mins from OC to pick up 3 dinners plus appetizers to share with friends in Long Beach (another 45 min drive, since it was 4pm) but it was SO worth it.   I'd do it again, without hesitation!  Delivery is available through DoorDash, Ubereats and GrubHub.    We ordered 3 combo plates - which in addition to choice of proteins (2 types of chicken and beef or falafel), included a yummy salad, rice pilaf, pita, your choice of a dip (tahini, the addictive garlic paste or minced jalapeno hot sauce) and creamiest ever hummus.    They were heavy plates, and I easily had leftovers for another meal. The chicken breast kebabs included 4-5 thick cubes of  succulent white meat, and the Thigh Me Up plate was chock-a-block with darker moist thigh meat.  We also ordered the amazing spiced potatoes (so delish!!  You have the option to make them hotter or milder; personally, I would ask for additional cilantro next time!)  and enjoyed an order of roasted cauliflower, which was flavorful and tender and tasted so so good with the tahini.   I'm already planning my next visit to include the Fattoush Salad, Beef Filet Kebab and Baklava.
